About Mrs. Johnson

I have been in education for almost 13 years and have taught multiple grades throughout Wake County.  I have been here at Olive Chapel Elementary for 7 years now and I love spending every moment here with the students and staff.  I work with both students and staff on integrating technology, teaching internet safety courses, managing our school's website, and coordinating state testing for grade levels.  I'm originally from Michigan where I graduated with both my Undergraduate and Master's Degree in Education, Literacy and Technology from Michigan State University, GO GREEN!  I live near OCE with my wonderful husband and two little boys.  My oldest son Owen will be in first grade for the 2020-2021 school year, while my two year old son Ellis, enjoys preschool!

My message to all my students is that no matter how challenging something can be, that you always should be proud of what you accomplished, because you tried!  You got this!
